The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden

Black Arts Council members are invited to enjoy a private member happy hour in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden, featuring the current installation Figures and Forms. Opened in 1939, the Sculpture Garden was conceived as an outdoor gallery for changing installations that brought nature, architecture, and art together in a new way. Making its debut in the Sculpture Garden is Simone Leigh’s Sentinel (2022), a monumental figure standing over 16 feet tall.
