Art inSight is a program for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Staff educators highlight specific themes, artists, or exhibitions through verbal description and discussion.
This program offers the chance to explore the exhibition Matisse: The Red Studio. The evening will start with an outdoor wine and cheese reception in the Museum’s Sculpture Garden at 5:00 p.m. This will be followed by a 6:00 gallery tour of the exhibition. Together we’ll unpack the radical nature of the painting’s almost entirely red surface and explore recent discoveries about how it was made.
Art inSight is free of charge. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
