Art inSight at Home is a monthly online program for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Staff educators highlight specific themes, artists, or exhibitions through verbal description and discussion using the Zoom platform.
Using the current exhibition Fotoclubismo: Brazilian Modernist Photography 1946–1964 as a starting point, we will explore how photographers distill moments from everyday life and uncover the abstraction inherent in the world around us. We will also consider how we might carry forward their practice through recording and sharing our own sensory experiences photographically and in other ways.
Art inSight is free of charge. Participants may join using the free Zoom app or website, or toll-free via phone.
Space is limited and preregistration is required. Please register at least 24 hours in advance of the program to receive the Zoom link.
