In the 25th century, Dr. Morbius, his daughter Altaira, and their trusty robot Robby live on the rugged planet Altair-4. When an expedition from Earth arrives to investigate whether the doctor survived his apparent crash landing 20-odd years prior, Morbius warns them to leave as the native Krell forces may be turning hostile. Featuring outlandish sets and an iconic sci-fi soundtrack, this bizarre take on The Tempest is a wonderful distillation of the mid-century atomic age.
