Ivan Ilyich Leonidov (Russian: Иван Ильич Леонидов; 9 February 1902 – 6 November 1959) was a Soviet constructivist architect, urban planner, painter and teacher.

Introduction
Leonidov began studying art at the Tver' art school in 1919, and in 1921 was admitted into the VKhUTEMAS school in Moscow, where he studied under Alexander Vesnin until 1927. Between 1928 and 1930 Leonidov was a member of the editorial board of the Constructivist journal Sovremennaia arkhitektura'. During the same period he also taught at VKhUTEIN (in 1927 the VKhUTEMAS was reorganized as VKhUTEIN). Between 1940 and 1946 he taught at the Studio for Monumental Painting of the Academy of Architecture of the USSR. In 1959 he taught model-making at the Moscow Architectural Institute.
