Helen Hatch joined the MoMA in 2023 as the Director of Individual Philanthropy. She oversees MoMA’s leadership and planned-giving programs, and is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities to expand and steward individual support. Prior to joining the Museum, she was the Senior Director of Individual and Major Giving at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Vice President and Specialist at Sotheby’s auction house in San Francisco and New York. Hatch holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, an MPhil in art history as a Herchel Smith fellow from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in art history from Williams College.
